They must be! I NEVER wear loose-fitting shorts if I am going to do any walking -- for shopping or anything because they ride up between my legs and I hate that. Today, though, we went to wash the car and I decided to walk home from the car wash to Charlie's folks' house (about a mile). I had on my loose-fitting shorts and THEY DID NOT RIDE UP as I was walking. WOOHOO!
I did walk this morning around town in my running gear. Did 4 miles in 1 hour 2 minutes. The best I have ever done just "walking". The weather was nice -- cloudy and cool and the route was flat. It felt good and NO backache. Will try that again tomorrow. I'm off the schedule with travelling, so even though it's Friday, I'll go 4 miles. I think we're travelling back home on Saturday, so it will be rest day, and I'll do the 10 on Sunday when we get home.

Yea on 2 counts...slimmer legs and no backache!! You were "hoofin' it" to do 4 miles in that time...try as I may, I can't seem to walk any faster than a 16 min. mile. Oh well, I hope it is true that the turtle won the race.
YOU GO GIRL! I know about that crawin' shorts syndrome!
Thanks for your sweet comment on my blog! It has taken a lot of gnashing of teeth to get me to this point in life - where I feel like I am capable of doing things.

Thanks for the comment on my blog, and I changed my original caption on his photo, because my sister MM Queen said it "looked strange". Well, its a funny picture, and someone who looks similar to him probably lives around the corner from me.My niece said its an "urban legend" photo, sort of nationwide. He sort of looks like a seasoned runner, with that washboard set of abs. Maybe he could join our MM group!
