I was such a wimp on Saturday, though. I wogged with Amy Ward and we did 40 second jog, 2 minute walks for 5 miles. When we started up that last hill, though, I was whipped. Put a fork in me! So I walked the last mile. To Amy's credit, though, she plugged on with the intervals. I am really proud of her, and thank her for letting me be her running buddy on Saturday. I am a little disappointed in myself that I didn't push on through with the intervals to the end.
After the 10K, I walked through town and headed to Clinton up Clinton-Raymond Road. My husband picked me up along the way, so I was able to get in the extra two miles, but did not do the hills again on the Port Gibson Road.
My hips sure were sore that day and the next, but are okay now. Going to head to the Ridgeland track tonight to wog. Want to be able to keep up with Amy, so I think I need to work on increasing my running interval.
Won't be with the group this Saturday. Will be in Shreveport visiting my Mom. There is a 5 K run about 2.5 miles from her house, so I plan to wog to the event, wog the event and probably walk home
Hope everyone has a good week.

20 lbs! Wow that is great! My lbs must really like me... cause they will not leave! I have "rearranged" though! I have gotten several comments in the last two weeks. Keep up the good work! Have fun on your trip!
Still waiting to meet you!

Have fun in Shreveport; and keep an eye out for Tom & Katie! LOL They're living there while Katie works in a new movie. I'm sure Tom won't let her out of his sight! And that, Ladies and Gentlemen, is our evening entertainment news!!! LOL
I agree with Lisa; my weight likes me too!
Enjoy your trip and we'll miss you!

CONGRATULATIONS on the 20 pounds. That is awesome and you should be so proud. You were NOT a wimp on Saturday. I saw VERY FEW people run up that damn hill! It was a killer to say the least! You are doing so well; keep up the great work you marathoner you!
I am so proud of you for your 20 pounds. I'm sorry I missed you if you went to Ridgeland high school. I had so much to do that I didn't get out there until 7:30 when the sun was setting. Shoot me an email if you go again so I'll know you are out there and you won't have to be by yourself.(kelvinandtam@bellsouth.net)
20 lbs is awesome! I am not going to be able to make it to Ridgeland High School tomorrow as I had planned. Will try to meet you there another time. Have a safe trip this weekend.
that is soo good, im so proud of you, keep up the good work,,
have a good weekend!
we will miss you
Missed you on Saturday, and thanks for the encouragement. YOU were SUCH a big part of me doing those intervals. I go alot further intervaling when I am NOT by myself. Today, I followed Ann M., and she set the pace. She made it look so easy, and we were jogging just over a minute, but we were walking almost 3 minutes. It was sooo hot, and the hills were tough on the way back. Next Saturday, intervals AGAIN!
